Brief Company Profile | Bhanwar Vilas Palace is a heritage hotel situated in the historic town of Karauli. It was constructed during the British period. It has 47 rooms and suites with all the modern facilities, a swimming pool, Billiards Table, Vintage Cars, Stud Farm , etc.
Situated in the eastern part of Rajasthan, Karauli is very ideally located in between Agra & Jaipur and Agra & Ranthambhore. It is also close to Gwalior and sariska .
Karauli is famous for its 600 years old palace which has exquisite frescoes, stone carvings & mirror inlay work.
The visit to the town is very interesting as it is still very traditional where one can see a lot of craftsmen working, can visit the local bazaar, the wholesale market, the vegetable market, which are all very lively.
A visit to the Madan Mohan Ji Temple [ Lord Krishna temple ] to see one of the many pujas being performed is also worthwhile.
The shivratri cattle fair, the two Kaila Devi Fairs, the Kaila Devi Tiger Sanctuary, shree Mahaveer Ji Jain Temples are the other major attractions of Karauli. |
